I would definitely recommend visiting ZhuJiaJiao Water town
Did a day trip to ZhuJiaJiao water village..it was a great experience..went on a boat ride through the canals and did some shopping..also had some great local fare…our guide Helen was very knowledgeable and helpful.. more

Amazing Shanghai
This is an amazing tour in an amazing city. Martin (our guide) went over and beyond to organize everything that we needed and required. He made it very flexible for us to select the right restaurants, even made sure we were seated in the right seats in the bullet train, just wow. He was very knowledgeable and spoke a lot about the things from a Chinese pov, and how to better understand it. I would always highly recommend China Highlights and Martin. Thanks more

Highlights of Shanghai
We had an amazing time with Wini walking the streets of Shanghai and learning about the remarkable history and architecture of this great city. We got to eat delicious food and see many different sights and locations, including the 118th floor of the Shanghai Tower. Highly recommend to everyone! more

Here is a suggested itinerary. We are happy to customize a tour according to your interests and schedule.
Your private guide will be waiting for you in the airport/train station arrivals area. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with an experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel. Your guide will help you to check in.
Your family will explore the city to see old and new Shanghai, and experience real Shanghai life.
Start your day to have a relaxing morning in Zhujiajiao Water Town. Follow your guide to walk across little bridges, explore a traditional Chinese garden, and sit in a rowing boat to enjoy the Venice of Shanghai.
In the afternoon, follow your guide along the Bund and go into historical buildings, touch the old items, and learn about Shanghai's progression through history.
Then ascend to the world's second tallest building of Shanghai Tower. The elevators whisk visitors up to the observation deck at a speed of 73.8 kilometers per hour (46 mph), which is the fastest elevator in the world - your children will love this experience.
This day is for family fun! We know people don't like time limitations in Shanghai Disneyland. To guarantee the best experience, we haven't arranged a private transfer on this day. You can have fun in Shanghai Disneyland from the morning until the evening.
Your personal tour guide will help you to reserve a taxi in advance. If you prefer, you can also try the metro or a bus as public transportation is very convenient.
Before departing Shanghai, you'll have a half-day to uncover some of the city's hidden treasures. Simply share your interests with your guide, whether it's shopping or a hands-on handicraft experience, and he/she will lead you to unexpected delights.
After lunch, your private guide and driver will take you to the airport or train station for your departure.
