Beijing in a day
![]() My partner found this company and booked with ease and no hassle. From start to finish we have been so looked after, upon arrival in Beijing after a train from Shanghai we were met by our guide Selinda. She has been amazing through out the day, flexible with times. She showed us the best place to get some food and then taking us to and from the Great Wall was filled with information and little facts. Plenty of time was given to explore the wall and then we were taken for some dumplings to revive us. Selinda made sure we were looked after and ensured we got back on the correct train. She made this trip so much less stressful and much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this company for future use. more

Great way to tour Beijing
![]() My daughter and I toured Beijing with Selinda. She was prompt, professional, friendly, and helpful. We saw Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Mutianyu Great Wall section. At each site she shared the history and offered suggestions of good places for pictures. She was attentive to us and made sure we had everything we needed. The driver was helpful and having him drop us off and pick us up was immensely helpful. We toured the Summer Palace with Jason and he also did a stellar job sharing interesting facts and information which gave us context and a greater appreciation of what we saw. Jason, like Selinda, did a splendid job suggesting good photo spots and always happily offered to take our picture for us. I highly recommend these two tour guides and the driver. This was a great way to see some of the tourist attractions in Beijing. more

Itinerary Quick Look
Here is a suggested itinerary. We are happy to customize a tour according to your interests.
After your flight lands in Beijing, your tour guide will be waiting at the arrival hall with a name plate and warm smile, ready to transfer you to your hotel by private car.
In the morning, stroll around Tian'anmen Square — the world's largest city square.
And then enter the Forbidden City, the best preserved imperial architectural complex in the world. The magnificent palaces, intricate halls, courtyards, and priceless exhibited treasures are very impressive. You guide will give explanations about the Chinese New Year decorations and the customs the royal families had for celebrating the festival.
Visit the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. Admire the beauty and the geometry of Chinese imperial architecture.
Visit Temple of Earth Park in the morning. Hosting one of the city's busiest temple fairs, the park is the site where sacrifices were formerly offered to the earth god. Now, it has become a gathering place where people celebrate the beginning of a new year with various kinds of traditional activities.
And then explore Lama Temple. Hear about why Emperor Qianlong (1711–99) turned Prince Mansion into a Tibetan Buddhist Temple and discover the treasures there.
Have fun on Houhai Lake in the afternoon. You can enjoy skating or biking on the frozen lake.
Travel to the Great Wall at Jinshanling. At the Jinshanling section, you can see both restored and wild parts of the Great Wall. A cable car ride will be arranged for you to get to the middle point of this section. Then you can choose whether to turn right for the restored section or left for the wild section.
Drive to Gubei Water Town where you will stay overnight.
Have a rest or walk around before taking the cable car up to the wall and see the stunning night views. Simatai is the only section of the Wall which is lit up tastefully and open to tourists at night.
Enjoy your time at Gubei Water Town, which is in a traditional-courtyard-style resort. During the Chinese New Year period, there are many traditional folk activities such as walking on stilts, yangko dances, Peking opera shows, acrobatic shows, and lantern exhibitions.
Afterward, we can arrange for you to have a "one-out-of-three" experience in Gubei Water Town (lasting for about 45 minutes): tie-dyeing, kite making, or Buddhist text tracing. Try one of these Chinese cultural experiences to make your own unique souvenir.
Your guide and driver will escort you to the airport or train station for your departure.
